Wed - April 17, '18 drill all morning under Col. Reynolds get back at noon. go to town to see about a liberty bond and couldn't do anything. get back to camp for supper. write to mother and read awhile, wash clothes and write to Berniece. Thu - April 18, '18 K.P. today. the fellows all went for a hike until midnight. finish letter to Berniece. finish the book "The Rosary (1) & go to bed. |
Fri - April 19, 1918 drill all morning go to the woods & get decarations for the dance tonight this afternoon. Had our big supper at 7:30 & dance afterwards sure had a fine time. clean things up afterwards and go to bed about 1 o'clock. Sat - Apr. 20, 1918 inspection this morning and take K.P. for one of the boys this afternoon. write to mothe, Berniece, Lillian and uncle tonight Am reading "The following of the Star" (2). |
